Description of Resort

Trysil boasts one of Norway’s largest ski areas set within the heart of Scandinavia. The imposing Trysil Mountain offers 64 runs in total with slope types to suit every standard and discipline. Trysil’s northerly location and 1132m altitude creates a snow sure ski destination. Trysil is exclusively for everyone who enjoys the mountain atmosphere and fantastic skiing. Families are well catered for with three children’s areas and an abundance of activities. Beautiful natural surroundings, excellent skiing and great activities will create a lasting impression of this fantastic resort.

Ski Guide

Beginner's - Excellent: Trysil features an excellent beginners area enabling new starters to master skiing or snowboarding in complete comfort and safety. All instructors from the ski school are English speaking and provide first class instruction.

Intermediate - Excellent: Skiers and snowboarders at this level will be thrilled at the choice and challenge the slopes at Trysil have to offer. With virtually no lift queues you can ski all day and get the most out of the mountain.

Advanced - Good: With it’s own dedicated ‘Expert’ area Trysil will more than satisfy skiers at this level with 11 black runs including mogul fields. Exciting off piste is readily available not too far from the piste.

Snowboard Guide

Good: Trysil’s Fun Park offers, big hits, fun boxes, rails and 2 half pipes. A separate area for those new to the park has a small pipe and jumps. Boarders should be aware that drag lifts dominate the lift system.

Cross Country Guide

Good: Trysil offers 90km of cut cross country tracks within a varied environment. All levels of ability are catered for.
