Following on from another hugely successful winter season, skiNorway is delighted to present our exclusive & well established funSki Academy in the resorts of Hemsedal & Trysil. The aim of this unique club is to provide a positive, fun and rewarding experience for children aged 5-15 years.
This service is available for beginners through to advanced skiers. The main emphasis is FUN and groups will ski within a safe and friendly environment with English speaking Group Leaders.
The main differences between traditional ski school lessons and skiNorway’s funSki Academy are outlined below:

Hemsedal - Monday to Friday x3 hours per day only £169 per child
Trysil - Monday to Friday x3 hours per day only £229 per child
New beginners will learn:
- Equipment Functions
- Movement with Skis
- Snowplough Stop
- Snowplough Turn
- Speed Control
- How to use Drag and Chair Lifts
- Basic Mountain Safety/Rules
- To ski mostly on Green slopes and some Blue slopes
Intermediate skiers will improve upon level 1 skills and learn:
- Improved Basic Techniques
- Balance Skills
- Stance Training
- Parallel Turns
- Mountain Safety/Rules – Skiers Code
- To ski mostly on Blue slopes and some
Intermediate skiers will improve upon level 1&2 skills and learn:
- Improved level 2 Intermediate Techniques
- Enhanced Balance Skills
- Enhanced Stance Training
- Carving Turns
- To ski mostly on Blue & Red slopes and some Black slopes
Advanced skiers will improve upon level 3 skills and learn:
- Improved level 3 Intermediate Techniques
- Advanced Balance Skills
- Advanced Stance Training
- Short Radius Turns
- Moguls
- To ski mostly on Blue, Red & Black slopes
Price: Monday to Friday x3 hours per day in Hemsedal - £169 per child. Monday to Friday x3 hours per day in Trysil - £229 per child.
