Ski Guide

Beginners

Excellent: The ideal choice for first time skiers. Reliable snow conditions and excellent English speaking ski schools will enhance your holiday experience and build confidence to tackle the awaiting mountains.

Intermediate

Good: Geilo offers the intermediate skier/snowboarder the opportunity to improve their skills by having uncrowded slopes and no lift queues. You can ski all day, making this resort ideal for mixed ability families and groups.

Advanced

Average: With seven black runs including challenging mogul fields, Geilo caters more for the new advanced skier where a safe environment is preferred to test new skills. The off piste in Geilo offers a more challenging alternative for the adventurous advanced skier/snowboarder.

Snowboard Guide:

Good: On a separate piste sits the Fun Park with all you need to get your heart pumping. Big hits, rails, quarter pipe, fun boxes and kickers are but a few of the delights awaiting the adventurous snowboarder.

Cross Country Guide:

Excellent: Offering 220 km of cross country tracks Geilo gives skiers of all abilities the ideal conditions to enjoy this Nordic sport. From easy tracks in and around Geilo centre to expert tracks up in the mountains.
