Arctic Ski & Sail

aboard the MS Sjøveien

Norway’s rugged, Arctic coastline is the ultimate ski touring destination and what better way to access the mountains than a classic cruise ship. The newly renovated MS Sjøveien provides a luxury setting to travel along the fjords of Svalbard or between the islands of the Arctic Haute Route whilst skiing untouched lines. The fully tailored ski-touring experience aboard MS Sjøveien will allow you to explore untouched snow in the famous Lyngen Alps, the Lofoten Islands or Svalbard.

Sail & Ski Charter

For groups up to 12 looking for something truly iconic, our Arctic Ski and Sail Holidays are the ultimate experience. Suitable for private groups, corporate events and those in search of the pinnacle of luxury travel experiences, everything on the 3 night tour will be tailored completely to you and the group.

Your 2 on board guides will pick out the best local ascents and descents based on the snow and weather each day, to ensure you have the finest conditions. You will spend each evening on the ship, where you can relax and enjoy the après ski as you sail to the next destination. You’ll enjoy high-quality food on board for your breakfast and evening meal, and take a packed lunch during your ski-touring days. All you will have to think about is having a fantastic time.

Arctic Ski & Sail Lofoten

The itinerary offers summit-to-sea skiing around the Lofoten archipelago and Vesterålen islands. The route provides a dramatic backdrop as you ascend to peaks rising to over 1000masl, and ski right down to the shores of the North Atlantic Ocean. Ideal for those new to ski-touring as well as experienced skiers, Lofoten is a destination you'll never want to leave.

Arctic Ski & Sail Lyngen

The Lyngen Alps, located east of Tromsø, offers world-class, free-ride skiing with peaks up to 1800masl, many of which are only accessible by boat. With over 60 summits making up the famous mountain range, the ski-touring possibilities are endless. From wide, open descents to couloir skiing, this off-piste paradise has every type of ski-touring terrain.

Arctic Ski & Sail Svalbard

May 2018 will see the ship travel to Svalbard, the world’s most adventurous ski destination. The rugged, remote terrain, which ascends from dramatic glaciers and vast icefields, is an expedition through the Arctic wilderness. Svalbard is ideal for experienced ski-tourers who are looking for an exclusive new adventure.
