Norefjell's award winning, modern ski resort has something for everyone. New and intermediate skiers can enjoy skiing right from the top of the mountain all the way down to the shores of Lake Krøderen on smooth blue and green runs, where as those looking for something a little more challenging are accommodated by a network of exhilarating slopes throughout the resort - some of which were once home to the slalom and downhill events at the 1952 Winter Olympics!
Spring skiing in Norway
One of the best kept secrets of the snow sports industry is that spring is one of the best times to enjoy a ski holiday, especially for young families and those new to skiing.
In Scandinavia the days are already more than 12 hours long by the end of March, ideal for relaxed days exploring the slopes. Temperatures are on the rise and are mild enough to suit young families, however there is still a great chance of fresh snow. This is the perfect combination for learning and improving your skiing technique and is especially good if you're a mixed group of beginner and advance skiers.
Norway is famous for its quiet ski slopes and because spring skiing is such a well-kept secret, you might well feel like you have the resort to yourself. These are wonderful conditions to learn in, and equally fantastic for experienced skiers wanting to stretch their ski legs - you’ll be flying round the mountain in no time.
