The right slopes for me?
Excellent: The dedicated nursery slope area is the perfect place to practice your turns and build your confidence. Excellent tuition is available from the local English speaking ski school.
Good: The excellent lift system provides access to slopes on both sides of the valley. Cruise down tree lined red runs or the wide blue slopes are perfect for honing your skills.
Average: The limited number of on-piste advanced runs means the more adventurous skier or snowboarder will have to look off-piste. Let a guide show you through dreamy tree lined powder and challenging chutes that Beitostølen has to offer.
Excellent: With over 320km of marked and maintained trails Beitostølen is a fantastic location from which to enjoy the serenity of Norway’s wilderness. With a choice of route lengths and difficulties Beitostølen is a good destination for beginners up to advanced cross country skiiers.
Average: Beitostølen’s fun park makes a great starting point for those interested in developing their freestyle skills and includes a half pipe as well as jumps rails and boxes.

Beitostølen is generally a relaxed family orientated resort with a chilled out atmosphere during the week, at the weekend there are a few lively pubs to choose between for après ski. There is a range of restaurants from a la carte to more relaxed cafés for you to enjoy.
