Trails range from gentle flats perfect for beginners through to secluded forests and devastatingly beautiful mountain plateaus ideal for the more adventurous cross country skiers.
The right slopes for me?
Excellent: One of the best ski areas for those new to the snow regardless of discipline. English speaking instructors can teach and develop your skills in alpine skiing, snowboarding, and cross country skiing.
Excellent: Uncrowded slopes prepared to a professional standard await you in Skeikampen, from cruisey blues to more challenging reds.
Good: There is a limited number of piste advanced runs, but there is plenty to choose from for those up for a challenge. Hone your skills on the mogul runs, or hire a guide to explore the back-country powder.
Excellent: Over 220km of cross country trails wind through the forests and over the fell-top plateaus of Skeikampen direct from your hotel or cabin. There are also some easier trails ideal for those new and improving on cross country skis making the resort an ideal place to learn and advance.
Good: The terrain park has a good selection of pipes, rails and kickers, ideal for those interested in improving their freestyle skills.
