Trysil is Norway’s largest ski resort and is a well-developed town as well as a fantastic all round holiday destination.

Travelling with us
Flying to Norway
You should have already received your flight tickets and holiday itinerary. Please check through the details and contact us immediately if there are any errors.
Travelling to your resort
Your skiNorway representative will meet you at the airport carrying a skiNorway banner. They will escort you to your transfer vehicle that will take you directly to your accommodation.
You will be met either by your skiNorway representative who will escort you to your transfer vehicle, or the driver of your vehicle. For the latter please proceed to the bus information desk on your right as you exit security in the arrivals hall, ask for the skiNorway transfer to your resort and the desk will give you a collection point. Exit by the doors beside the bus desk and proceed to your collection point where your driver will meet you and escort you directly to your accommodation.
Trains depart the airport station every 20 minutes. Turn right as you exit security into the arrivals hall and proceed to the end of the building where you will find ticket collection machines. Collect your tickets from the machines or desk using the booking reference in your itinerary then follow the instructions on your itinerary.
Your bus times will be on your itinerary. As you exit security into the arrivals hall please proceed to the bus information desk on your right to confirm the collection point for the express bus to your resort, usually platform 32 for the Trysil Express. Exit by the doors beside the bus desk and proceed to your collection point to board your bus which will drop you outside your accommodation.
As you exit security into the arrivals hall turn right to proceed to Europcar Rental desk. You will need to show your voucher with reference number enclosed within your arrivals pack. Please have your driving licence and passport ready.
Please contact your skiNorway representative if you require travel seats for toddlers or infants.
For your pre-purchased ski services (lift pass, ski rental, ski school etc) vouchers with start times and location will be issued on arrival from your skiNorway representative unless otherwise stated. For customers who have pre-booked and paid for ski equipment rental please bring with you details of height in cm, weight in kilograms and shoe size (European) as this will greatly speed up your ski fitting.
Your stay with us
We’re sure you will love your hand-picked accommodation, and full details of the services and facilities available in your hotel, apartment or cabin will be available on arrival. If you have any problems during you stay please contact your skiNorway representative who will be happy to help resolve you issues.
Check in is from 15:00 for hotels and 17:00 for apartments and cabins, if you’re arriving before these times please contact you skiNorway representative for information on how to store your luggage and enjoy your resort facilities.
The same method of transfer will apply for your return journey unless otherwise stated. A skiNorway representative will contact you with your departure information at least 48 hour prior to your departure to re-confirm your return transfer details.
Please note that check-in is at 11:00 for all accommodation types (Trysil). For early or late departures your skiNorway representative will speak to you about early breakfast options and luggage storage.
Please settle outstanding bills on the evening before you departure.

If you require medical attention during your holiday please contact your skiNorway representative immediately. We recommend you travel with an EHIC card (see here for more information) as well as you compulsory travel insurance for cover of general medical bills. If you see a doctor and receive medical attention while abroad you will be required to produce a ‘fit to fly’ certificate, please ask your doctor about this.
